Vikra performed at the Teatro Luigi Mancinelli in Orvieto as part of the Orvieto Festival della Piana del Cavaliere, under the creative direction of Anna Leonardi. Participating in the 7th edition of the festival, titled “Sguardi” (Glimpses), the ensemble presented a program specifically designed for the occasion: “Star(e)s – Sguardi di luce e ombra (Glimpses of Light and Shadow)”.
The concert offered a refined exploration of choral textures, blending contemporary and classical works to create a dialogue between sound and the architectural beauty of one of Italy’s most celebrated theaters. Within the historic 19th-century framework of the Teatro Mancinelli, known for its exceptional acoustics and structure, the performance became a key highlight of the festival’s symphonic and chamber music program, focusing on the theme of the human gaze through the lens of sacred and secular music.
