The opening evening of the 58th Študijski dnevi Draga featured Vikra. After presenting the full Concert of Memory and Dialogue dedicated to Boris Pahor at Teatro Verdi in Trieste, the choir performed an adapted version of the program in Opčine. This performance, dedicated to the writer’s life and testimony, retraced his most significant chapters through a refined selection of choral works. Even in this more intimate setting at the Park Finžgarjevega doma, the program maintained its profound emotional and historical impact, blending music and memory to celebrate one of the most important cultural voices of the 20th century.
The event marked a significant moment of reflection within the Draga meeting’s tradition of intellectual and social dialogue. As a historic and influential gathering for the Slovenian community, the 58th edition of Draga provided the perfect stage for Vikra to showcase how music can serve as a bridge between history and contemporary identity.
